Embellished Printer Fabric Picture

I had some printer fabric that I had been wanting to do something with for a while now. Last night I got busy and made this simple, yet pretty, embellished picture for my room!

You will need,

  • Printer fabric, I used a glossy fabric (Check Walmart!)
  • Decorative paper
  • Embellishments
  • Frame or shadow box

Print the desired image onto the printer fabric.  The fabric gives it a really nice texture.

Then peel off backing, cut out and trim.

Next, using my sewing machine, I sewed it onto a piece of decorative paper.  You could also sew it onto a piece of fabric.

I then added a couple embellishment, ribbon and tissue paper! I wanted just enough to add some fun, but not so much that it would take away from the main photo.

After you think it is finished, frame it up and display it!

So what do you think?  This DIY is super versatile!  Is there something you would do differently? or add to?
