The Outer Banks: North Carolina

Last week my family and I road tripped 16 hours to North Carolina. We had been looking forward to our trip for months and it did not disappoint! Though the weather was chillier at the beginning of the week, the last half warmed up which allowed us to soak in the sun! My favorite beach activity? Closing my eyes and listening to the roaring ocean! Oh, and looking for pretty shells comes close to second!

We stayed in a beautiful house that had views of the Sound (pictured above) and the ocean. I loved the wild flowers that are different from the ones we have in Ontario. During the week we enjoyed visiting Jockey Ridge (the largest natural sand doon) and the Wright Brothers Memorial, outlet mall shopping, frozen custard, and more. I had fun! The Outer Banks are definitely worth visiting!

Your sweet comments make my day a whole lot sunnier! Thank you!
